An urgent task is the development of new resource-saving technologies for deep processing wastes from hydrometallurgical industry purpose their reuse. Membrane make it possible to create closed technological cycles with reuse recovered components in production, which allows solving many environmental problems. At Abinsk Electric Steel Works Ltd. (Russia), during production copper-coated steel wire, a large amount waste containing sulfuric acid and heavy metal salts generated. The chemical treatment such effluents slaked lime alkali produces sludge, causes problems leads irreversible loss acid. problem separating acids can be solved using diffusion dialysis through anion-exchange membranes, however, return cycle, purified must additionally concentrated. In this work, we studied process electrodialysis concentration heterogeneous ion-exchange membranes Ralex® CMHPP AMHPP (manufactured by MEGA a.s., Czech Republic) have polypropylene reinforcing mesh resistant acids. main parameters been determined – dependence regenerated on at inlet cell current density, as well energy consumption process.
